The Wedding Flower Shop is pleased to now offer Green Hydrangea year-round from our flower farms in Colombia and Ecuador!

Green Hydrangea is widely sought after for use in bouquets and arrangements of wedding flowers. Our green Hydrangea is shipped in boxes of either 24 stems or 48 stems.  Each stem is host to one large bloom that is roughly the size of a softball (oftentimes larger).

The Wedding-In-A-Box Mixed Flower Package is our newest package of wedding flowers and is available in 2 different sizes:

These Wedding-In-A-Box packages consist of an assortment of long-lasting California fresh cut flowers and foliage and include the following:

We strongly encourage our customers to schedule the Wedding-In-A-Box: Mixed Flower Packages to arrive 3 days prior to their event.  Some of the flowers are shipped in an early blooming stage and will take several days to reach full bloom.

We have had many customers recently ask about the availability of the medium pink Hydrangea in May.  Typically the medium pink Hydrangea is not available until about mid-May; however, the exact date of availability varies from year to year.

Last year was an unseasonably cool spring for the flower farm that grows the medium pink Hydrangea and we were not able to offer them until the first part of June.

If you are interested in medium pink Hydrangea in May, please check in with us at the beginning of April.  At that point our flower farm should have a pretty good idea as to when the medium pink Hydrangea will be available.

In recent years, Dendrobium Orchids have really grown in popularity. We consider them the epitome of ‘affordable elegance’. Dendrobium Orchids are long-lasting flowers and are widely used in bouquets and arrangements of wedding flowers.

We offer various packages of both bulk Dendrobium Orchids and Dendrobium Orchid bouquets.  Before you make your decision on which package to order, please keep the following in mind:

Bulk Dendrobium Orchids: The bulk Dendrobium Orchids are sold in boxes of 60 stems, 120 stems, and 180 stems.  They are packed in bunches of 10 stems.  These Dendrobium Orchids measure about 16 inches in length.  If you stood a ruler on the ground that was 16″ tall, the first 4″ would be the stem and water tube, the next 5″-6″ would be open flowers (usually about 4-5 mature blooms), and the last 5″-6″ would be buds beginning with the most mature to the least mature.

Dendrobium Orchid Bouquets: The Dendrobium Orchid bouquets are available in various sizes (3-stem, 4-stem, and 5-stem bouquets). The Dendrobium Orchid bouquets are packed as bouquets and include 2 shoots of Sword Fern. The Dendrobium Orchids used in these bouquets are a smaller grade Dendrobium Orchid than what you would receive if you ordered a bulk package of Dendrobium Orchids.  The Dendrobium Orchids in the Dendrobium Orchid Bouquets measure between 12″ and 14″ in overall length.

Both the Dendrobium Orchids in bulk and in bouquet form are wildly popular. The purpose of this blog posting is not to point you in one direction or another… but rather to make you aware of the key differences between these products.

We do ask that all orders for Valentine’s Day be placed by January 29th. If you place your order for Valentine’s Day after January 29th you may be subject to limited availability and/or higher prices.
